The “Jameer Nelson did that on purpose!” theory that floated around the comments in last night’s game thread has made it’s way to TrueHoop. For what it’s worth, I’ve viewed the replay several times and still lean toward it being incidental.

On purpose or not - why can’t we knock the hell out of him the next time he drives the lane anyway?
I believe Nelson did it on purpose. If you look at the video you will see that One of his feet sat straight up and his right foot was hooked under Billup’s foot and pointed towards his left foot. When a person falls back your feet do not point inward as you are trying to catch your balance and the basic instinct is to keep your feet straight.
We can test Joe R’s theory by having Max knock Jameer down a couple times…
