It’s time to retire Amir Johnson’s jersey …

It’s time to retire Amir Johnson’s jersey — his high school jersey, that is: “Celtics rookie guard Gabe Pruitt will be going back to Los Angeles this weekend to be honored with the retirement of his jersey number at Westchester High School (not far from LAX) during a charity all-star game at the school Sunday. Pruitt said Westchester is also retiring jerseys from Pistons center Amir Johnson and ex-Nets guard Hassan Adams.”

I love this team. We are number 1 and its going to stay that way for years to come. I put my faith in God that will make to the top. And for my boy Amir Johnson for his jersey to be retired is real cool. U da man!

  3. 3 boston baby

you ARE number one? i dont think so.. next year maybe #5..

    #1 - boston
    #2 - l.a. lakers
    #3 - new orleans
    #4 - spurs
#5 - your team.. or maybe orlando.. or cleveland.. so yeah. detroit would find it difficult to make it to the top 5.

Celtics are #1 this year but can you honestly say you’re going to repeat next year. If Celtics played the Spurs instead of the Lakers, Celtics wouldnt have won the championship so easily.

The Spurs? The Spurs? Hahahahahahaha. Let’s whoop it up for a team that has 10 guys under contract right now. I sure hope they spend their cap space wisely. And let’s not forget they almost lost in the semi-finals before the finals. And typical of a retarded Boston fan to forget that Detroit only won 7 less games than them and still more games than any other squad besides Boston. Detroit doesn’t lose any players who played significant minutes, and they have a MLE to play with. Yeah, um, that’s an equation that says at their absolute worst, these Pistons are the 4th best team in the league next year.

Pistons are a great time and have a great core, but they are a top 5 team only. Depending on how next season goes I can see them having the #2 record again, but they cannot get past Boston without a big trade.

Without any big trades this off season, it’ll be Boston vs. LA and LA winning in 7 games
