Wow. Heard an interview with Artest here in LA. He wouldn’t commit to saying he’d opt out of his contract and take less money to play for the Lakers but at least 10 times (not exaggerating) he mentioned how Lamar Odom is one of his closest friends since he was ten and would love to play with him and Kobe.

not quite sure how this validates the Conduit??? Joe said he didn’t meet with Flip until after he met with Davidson. Pretty clear that Flip fed his PR drone a false report and the Conduit ran with it… to his shame.

A NOTE TO THOSE WHO WOULD WORK FOR BILL DAVIDSON:

Despite his elfin appearance and hands-off reputation, Mr. D apparently rolls like a gangleader. If you’re with the Pistons, you’re a Piston for life.

That comment about Curry buying a house in the area crystallizes everything, given that Flip left his family behind in Minnesota. Kind of … well, scary. Too bad no one holds Matt Millen to the same standard.
