There's a quick Q-and-A with Mo Evans in the Detroit News:
Q. Favorite subject in school?
A: Math.
Q: Seriously? Like hard math?
A: I guess I have to take that back. I liked math in elementary and middle school. Then it got harder. Once I got into college, I liked English. I liked all the papers and the rhetorical questions and things like that. I expressed myself.
Q: Just wanted to check that you weren't some calculus whiz.
A: Uh, no way.
Not exactly hard-hitting stuff, eh? Well, this is as good of a time as any to introduce a new post category: Puff Pieces. The local papers love these things, which strive to offer an "inside" view of the team but rarely anything more than straight fluff spoon-fed from the team's PR department. But whatever, there's a place for that type of stuff, I guess, especially when games are spaced 2-3 days apart.
And in case you haven't noticed, you can navigate through all the posts by date or category on the Archives page -- the usual link is at the top of the page.
