Rasheed Wallace wants your coat

Rasheed Wallace\'s coat drive

"With so many people out there without winter necessities, it is important to help give them something to keep warm," said Wallace, who expects Detroiters to contribute heavily to the less fortunate. "I’m reaching out once again to the community for support to collect as many coats as possible."

OK, so it's not funny like the rest of my collection of 'Sheed quotes, but it's for a really good cause, and an easy way to score an autographed 8x10, if that's your thing:

Detroit Pistons forward Rasheed Wallace has teamed with The Salvation Army for the second straight year to collect new coats at The Palace prior to Pistons home games during the upcoming holiday season. Individuals who donate a coat at a Pistons home game will receive an autographed 8x10 photo of Wallace and an opportunity to win an authentic autographed Wallace jersey. Coats will be collected in the west atrium entrance at Pistons home games starting December 14 vs. Sacramento and ending December 29 vs. Miami.
