Well, take solace in the fact that now that the celebration has finally died down on South Beach, those that follow the team are admitting that perhaps the Heat isn't all that hot:
Shaquille O'Neal had more points in a half against Detroit than he has in most entire games now, and Miami still was down 10 at halftime. Shaq and Dwyane Wade had their most impressive showings of the season, together, and the Pistons still were shooting wide-open for the win on the road as the buzzer sounded. Miami had only four turnovers -- which is to say it played about as crisply as it can -- and yet didn't overcome a huge deficit until Pat Riley sat all his big offseason acquisitions at once in the fourth quarter.
