One of the things I've enjoyed the most about maintaining this site this is finding out just how far my voice can be heard. The map below shows just a sampling of where visitors to Detroit Bad Boys have come from over the past week.
As you'd expect, a great deal of the visitors come from Michigan and the Midwest US, but I'm surprised at the number of visitors coming from Europe, and it's exciting to realize that I also have at least a handful of regular visitors coming from Africa, the Middle East, Taiwan, Japan, New Zealand and Australia (you can't see the entire map, but trust me on those last four). Are those visitors international fans of the game, or are they native Michiganders just looking for info on their hometown team? I don't know, but I'd love to find out.
Not to get all sentimental about the power of the Internet, but just 10 years ago I never would have imagined it would be this easy to casually converse with people from all over the world. Drop us a line in the comments and tell us just where exactly you happen to be writing from -- I don't care if it's just down the street in Detroit or halfway around the globe in Dubai, let us know!
