"I think he's a consummate point guard," Krzyzewski said. "He makes hard passes look easy. He runs the team. He knows the time to score. He feels the nuances of the game. He can flat out shoot it. He's great at end of game situations at the free-throw line. And he can play defense.
"When we looked at the whole thing, it was obvious he's the guy. And he deserves it; he earned it. It would have been ridiculous not to pursue him and have him on this team."
