Today was a difficult one for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Justin Hughes, brother of Cavs shooting guard Larry Hughes, passed away earlier Thursday at the age of 20, apparently succumbing after a lifelong battle with heart troubles. Larry Hughes has left the team to be with his family, and his status for Saturday's game is unknown. Damon Jones summed up the team's thoughts this way:
"Right now, basketball should be the furthest thing from his mind," teammate Damon Jones said. "He has to be there for his family. They're going through a trying time right now. If he's able to get back, that's good. If he's not, we're going to continue to keep him in spirit in our hearts."
Our hearts go out to Larry and his family.
