After pointing out the rising popularity of beards in the NBA, I couldn't let this pass:
Standing in front of his locker early Tuesday evening, Manu Ginobili ran his hand along his freshly shaven chin and smiled. Gone was the two-month-old beard he had not-so-carefully cultivated.
"I feel like me again," Ginobili said.
He played like himself, too. Having recovered from his self-induced hangover, Ginobili carved up the Sacramento Kings for 27 points to help pace the Spurs to a 109-98 victory in front of a rousing sellout crowd at the AT&T Center.
