Well, probably. We've heard these rumors before, so I'll believe it when I see it. But the Detroit Free Press reports that Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick announced a plan that will feature "a ring of retail shops and residential housing surrounding the historic playing field, which will be preserved as a nonprofit park and ball diamond."
