Yes, I recognize the odd timing of my announcement: the start of a three-day weekend in which many of my readers are holed up in a cabin up north. (In fact, as of Saturday morning, I'll be journeying up north to join all of those readers.) But I had to say something sooner or later, didn't I? And really, what time is better than the present?
