Billups and McDyess examined, cleared

A. Sherrod Blakely has an update on Chauncey Billups and Antonio McDyess:

I just got word that both had an MRI performed today, and the results were negative. While this doesn't necessarily mean they're in the clear, it does open up the possibility that both might play tomorrow. Team officials are listing both as day-to-day.

I would say Chauncey's more likely to see action than McDyess, simply because Chauncey's injury hasn't lingered the way McDyess' has.

Fortunately, even though the team is on the road, the schedule cooperates a bit with their injuries. They have an off day today, and then after facing the Lakers tomorrow they have another off day on Saturday. After wrapping up the trip against the Kings on Sunday, they don't play again until hosting the Knicks on Wednesday. If one or both guys ends up having to sit out the rest of the trip, he'll end up with a full week of rest between games.
