The competition for Grant Hill is stiff, but Morris Peterson wouldn't be a bad consolation prize. In fact, I'm not sure the Pistons wouldn't be better off making MoPete their No. 1 target for their vacant backup small forward job -- he's five years younger without any injury concerns. (What about Gerald Wallace? Despite Detroit's reported interest, I don't see why he'd settle for less money, let alone a backup job, to be a Piston.)
