We've waited quite some time for tonight, especially since the last couple months have been boring, to say the least, right?

After an off-season roster overhaul (sort of), we as fans have been nothing but eager to see the new look Pistons play. Unfortunately, we won't get a chance to see new forward, Charlie Villanueva, as he is still battling a tweaked hamstring. It's not expected to be serious, and holding him out is most likely just a precautionary measure.

After Sunday's practice, coach John Kuester was still uncertain who would be starting, but said a few of the spots were set. It's being speculated that the questionable spots are at the four and the five and those two spots are between Ben Wallace, Chris Wilcox, and Kwame Brown.

The Heat have been raving about the progress of Michael Beasley, who had an eventful offseason of his own. He will start at small forward for them tonight.

The game is at 7:30 PM EST, as noted above. You can catch the game on FSD if you are in the Michigan market. If you're not, then you can follow along on NBA.com or listen to the game on 97.1 The Ticket. I'm not sure if the game will be airing on NBA-TV if you subscribe to that (if you know, let me know).
