The Pistons have had no problem adjusting to all the injury problems this season, though.
Despite their problems staying healthy, the Pistons (10-12) have improbably boosted their scoring average to 98.5 during their win streak after averaging 90.6 while losing eight of nine from Nov. 15-Dec. 2. They also topped 100 points for the fourth time this season Thursday.
And that's a good sign coming into a game against the Warriors. The Warriors play at the fastest pace in the NBA, scoring the third most points in the league per game, but they also allow the most at 111 ppg.
Detroit needs to dictate the pace of the game, because Detroit will most likely not be able to hang with the Warriors fast pace given all their injuries and style of play. The past four games are encouraging, though.
Pistons.com scouting report:
I'll be at the game tonight, so I won't be in the game thread. Hopefully, you can hold down the fort. I'll be back after the game and check the comments and have the recap up later tonight/early tomorrow morning. Go Pistons!
UPDATE: Richard Hamilton is BACK! He was activated and will play tonight.
