Is it Murphy yet? Bulls 95, Pistons 82

I don't have much to say about tonight's game, other than that sometimes ESPN's play by play just doesn't do the game justice.

For example, this:

Derrick Rose makes 2-foot two point shot (Ronnie Brewer assists)

Really doesn't bring home the impact of this:

Oh, and also, the Pistons blew yet another double-digit lead, yet again to the Chicago Bulls. As Charlie V. Tweets "What's the definition of insanity?"

Not much else to say about this one. Greg Monroe earned his third consecutive double-double. He took all of 43 minutes to get it (thanks to Big Ben tweaking his ankle almost immediately), but moral victories are what they are.

I think I speak for all Pistons fans when I say it's time for a change, on way or the other.

Elsewhere in the NBA

How about that Bobcats-Grizzlies game, eh?

No? Well, the Celtics-Rockets were pretty intriguing. Short Kevin Garnett, they dropped a game at home despite shooting 51% from the field, and 21-23 the stripe. Think he maybe plays a role in their defensive schemes?

Also, Shaq is shooting 71% from the field for January. When did he turn into Joel Przybilla?
