2012 NBA Draft Open Thread

It's about that time. The time a fan of every horrible NBA team marks on their calendar -- the NBA Draft. Coverage kicks off officially at 7 p.m. on ESPN with a pre-draft special and the draft proper beginning at 7:30 p.m.

It has been a wild couple days at Detroit Bad Boys, with everyone arguing over who makes the most sense -- John Henson, Jared Sullinger, Meyers Leonard, Andre Drummond, Tyler Zeller and even Dion Waiters (though that was me).

We also had the biggest (only) Pistons trade in more than 1,000 days when Ben Gordon and a protected first-round pick was dealt to Charlotte in exchange for the expiring contract of Corey Maggette. Some people thought it was good. Others thought it was kinda bad.

We also had Jason Maxiell opt into the final year of his contract, giving us one more year of baby eating and a $5 million expiring trade chip to boot.

We have spent the past several days building our official Detroit Bad Boys Draft Board. More than 2,700 votes were cast. Thanks again!

We have dozens of today's most ludicrous trade rumors and legitimate news gathered for you in our afternoon open thread. And we also have polls open concerning who the Pistons should draft with their two second-round selections.

It's going to be a great night!
