After the good news came earlier that 2012 NBA Draft prospect Scott Machado will work out in Detroit next week, Pistons.com's Keith Langlois has some more great news for Pistons fans. Apparently, Norfolk State senior Kyle O'Quinn will not pass go, he will proceed directly to Detroit after the draft combine to work out for the Pistons:
Kyle O'Quinn, whose 26&14 vs. Mizzou put him on radar, says 1st workout after NBA draft combine will be for #Pistons.

Yes, please, and thankyouverymuch. For the uninitiated, Kyle O'Quinn is a 6'10" forward-center who could potentially fill either role in the NBA. In his senior season, O'Quinn averaged 16 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks in 31 minutes of play, earning a reputation as a defensive stalwart who is handy at two disciplines well-respected in Detroit: BLOCKS AND DUNKS.
Like Scott Machado, Kyle O'Quinn became a fan favorite here on DetroitBadBoys after the astute observations of our own commenter TheBoourns. Be sure to read TheBoourns analysis of Kyle O'Quinn from May to get a better sense of who Detroit will soon be analyzing in workouts. When it comes to finding a player who can fit well with Greg Monroe, O'Quinn may be one of the best options in the draft, first round or second.
