The Detroit Pistons are 2-0 so far in the Orlando Summer League but the team's game against the Orlando Magic left a lot to be desired. Today the Pistons face the Oklahoma City Thunder. The game will be aired on NBA TV and you can purchase a summer league package to stream online for $15 from NBA.com.
Game Tips at 1 p.m. EST
Detroit Pistons vs. Orlando Magic
The Situation
Andre Drummond struggled in his second professional (summer league) game. There is no getting around it. He had trouble on offense and on defense and failed to make an impact. But in that regard he joined a host of his teammates -- Kim English struggled. Brandon Knight struggled. Khris Middleton ... well, he was downright bad.
The squad looks to rebound today against the Thunder. The biggest name on the Thunder's roster might not play, however, as Perry Jones III sprained his ankle during his team's game against the Indiana Pacers. Other notable names on the Thunder roster include reserve guard Reggie Jackson, big man Cole Aldrich, who will match up today against Drummond, and Morris Almond. Almond is sort of like Austin Daye in that he has a combination of a great stroke and questionable other basketball skills to light up the summer league against inferior opponents.
Questions for the Game
Who is going to have the biggest rebound performance -- Drummond, English, Knight, or Kyle Singler?
