The Detroit Pistons wrap up Orlando Summer League action today against the Philadelphia 76ers. The team is coming off its best game of the summer league and hopefully they can close it out just as strong. The game will air on NBA TV and you can purchase a summer league package to stream online for $15 from NBA.com.

The Situation

Brandon Knight bounced back nicely from his horrific game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, scoring 19 points to go with 14 assists. The primary beneficiary of that passing was little-used Khris Middleton, who knocked down all five of his shots including two 3-pointers. Middleton got some serious playing time thanks to the Pistons deciding to sit an exhausted Kyle Singler and with the time on the floor he has actually able to look like a bona fide second-round pick.

Andre Drummond has his second straight almost double double (going against Jared Sullinger, no less) so hopefully today he can notch enough rebounds in today's game to eliminate the almost. I'd also love to see another strong game from Kim English, who struggled with his shot against the Celtics (3-9) but still managed to lead the team in plus-minus and tie for the lead in rebounds. An of course Austin Daye will probably do his Austin Daye summer league thing.

Soak up the opportunity to see big man Yancy Gates and maybe even Vernon Macklin and get all those Casper Ware jokes in now because this is probably the last time you'll see any of them in a Pistons uniform.

Question of the Game

Who would you rather have on the team in 2012 -- Vernon Macklin or Khris Middleton?
