The Detroit Pistons wrapped up Summer League on Friday afternoon with a 71-67 win over the Philadelphia 76ers' summer team. The Pistons finished the week-long event with the best record at 4-1.
Three Pistons were recognized for their performances this week, according to Magic Basketball (H/T PistonPowered):
Austin Daye cracked the First Team in his third summer league action thanks to averages of 15.8 points on 51-percent shooting (35-percent from three), 7.4 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 2 blocks in 26-plus minutes per game.
Brandon Knight was listed on the second team after averaging 14.5 points on 35-percent shooting (0-for-7 from three), 7.3 assists (4.0 TO), 3 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 29 minutes per game (in four games).
Kim English received Honorable Mention honors mostly due to his 46-percent shooting from beyond the arc (10-for-22) and solid defense in five games.
Stats don't mean a whole lot in five summer league games, so it's important to keep everything in perspective, but for those of you wondering how Andre Drummond fared, he finished averaging 7.4 points (on 50-percent shooting), 5.4 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 2 blocks in 24.2 minutes per game.
