Brandon Jennings to miss game vs. Nets

Brandon Jennings is still out due to pain involving his wisdom teeth, according to Pistons beat writer Keith Langlois. Jennings, who missed Thursday's game against the Heat with the same injury, didn't travel with the team to Brooklyn.

Jennings is expected to be the Pistons starting point guard and one of four new members of the Pistons opening-night starting lineup. It's unfortunate that he won't be able to suit up as this is the best time to establish a rapport with his new teammates. Still, I guess its better to miss time in the preseason than the regular season, especially considering the injury isn't the kind of thing that will linger for much longer.

Also expected to miss tonight are Chauncey Billups and Rodney Stuckey, who is out indefinitely with a thumb injury.

In Jennings' absence, Will Bynum started for the Pistons against the Heat and played 46+ minutes. Tonight won't be so bad for Bynum, as rookie Peyton Siva is expected to be activated for the first time this preseason.
