Tom Gores was rarely seen in his first couple of years owning the Pistons. Now? He's rushing the court following a preseason victory. A thrilling preseason game, mind you -- but a preseason game nonetheless.
He promised a few weeks ago that he'd be more visible, and so far he's staying true to his word. I don't think it's contrived, either. Considering how much turnover the roster has seen under his watch (and the big investment he just made in Smith), I imagine he's much more emotionally invested than before. I love it.
