Will Bynum likely still out Friday with injured hamstring

The Pistons' backup point guard expects to miss his fourth consecutive game Friday.

From MLive.com's David Mayo:

Will Bynum said after Wednesday's loss at Atlanta that his ailing hamstring won't allow him to play in Friday's rematch with the Hawks at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

Bynum has missed three games with his injuries -- the hamstring, followed by a compensatory groin injury -- while Chauncey Billups has missed four games during a bout with knee tendinitis.

Bynum has dealt with the hamstring issue since training camp. He tried to play through it and only got worse physically, he said.

Bynum has averaged 9.5 points and 3.6 assists (1.6 turnovers) in 20.1 minutes per game, missing the last three. With Bynum and Billups out, expect to see more of Peyton Siva, who's shown signs of promise the last two games but still lacks the same offensive spark as the two veterans he's replacing.
