Andre Drummond was one of the two or three bright spots of the 2012-2013 Detroit Pistons, so it's only fitting he's the one that decided to go above and beyond in thanking the true red, white and blue fans for their continued support despite another downer year.
In Sunday's Detroit Free Press, Drummond took out a a full-page advertisement with the following note:
PISTONS FANS - THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT THIS SEASON AND FOR WELCOMING ME TO DETROIT. I'M PROUD TO REPRESENT THIS CITY.

Drummond's play in limited minutes his rookie season quickly made him a fan favorite, but doing something like this and acknowledging fans on the social medias and such goes the extra mile. Ultimately, Drummond's play will trump all, but it's always easy to root for a player with an outward appearance of class. Drummond has it all going for him heading into his sophomore season.
