dandandtw wins DBB's first 'guess the score and winner' contest

Congratulations to dandandtw, a new member as of yesterday, for winning DBB's first 'guess the score and winner' contest. He will be contacted shortly on how to claim his prize.

As I noted above, dandandtw said the Celtics would win 98-92, off by only one Rodney Stuckey free throw.

Amazingly, there were a lot of really close guesses. Big Z in Orlando almost nailed it, but admirably went with his heart in picking the Pistons to win, even though his head was telling him the Celtics would win.

Other close guesses below:

XstreamINsanity said the Celtics would win 96-89, off by only 6 points, and guessed Drummond's point total (8) exactly right.

- PS - was off by five points, predicting a 102-94 Celtics win. I agree with him, though, that Vox Media could learn a lot about NBA predictions from the wealthy industrialists in his peer group.

The second closest guess was by revken, who said the Celtics would win 98-91, off by only a wide open Brandon Knight layup.
