Introducing FanDuel, a daily fantasy basketball league

SB Nation has partnered with daily fantasy site FanDuel to bring you an opportunity to build a team and compete for cash prizes.

If you buy something from an SB Nation link, Vox Media may earn a commission. See our ethics statement.

Tim Fuller-USA TODAY Sports

If you haven't already read this on one of our other esteemed NBA websites or put it together from the dominant advertisements that pop up, I'm here to tell you that SB Nation has partnered with FanDuel. FanDuel is a fantasy sports website that gives you a salary cap to construct what you think in your GM little heart will be the best team on a daily basis. You then pit that fake team of yours up against others for the potential to rake in daily cash prizes. It's nice because if you feel like playing on Mondays, but not on Tuesdays, you can play on Mondays and not have to worry about repercussions for not playing on Tuesdays. Get it? If you do, you should head over to FanDuel (AFTER YOU READ BELOW).

If not, the video below should be easier to understand:

I'll be posting a weekly FanDuel post with my thoughts on top matchups, etc, and I'll also post recaps of top matchups from the DBB League, if you all are interested. Let me know in the comments.

If you're interested in joining a $2 winner-take-all private league tonight, head over here. It requires 20 people to play and it's only for the two late-night games. I probably won't win, so "Here's your two dollars."

My hastily put together $2 team for all the Monday games is below, which is probably as crappy as my every day fantasy team (thanks Yahoo! queue screw):

PG Rajon Rondo at Mavericks $8,100
PG Deron Williams at Nets $7,700
SG Jason Terry at 76ers $3,500
SG Avery Bradley at Mavericks $5,700
SF Rudy Gay at Nuggets $8,100
SF Gordon Hayward at Clippers $6,900
PF Anthony Davis at Grizzlies $10,900
PF K.J. McDaniels at Rockets $3,700
C Kelly Olynyk at Mavericks $5,000
