Andre Drummond fired his agent Rob Pelinka, hired Jeff Schwartz

Andre Drummond is reportedly making business moves, too.

While Greg Monroe's camp was out seemingly stirring the pot, Drummond was out making his own business moves.

Founding attorney at HEITNER LEGAL and CEO of Sports and Entertainment consulting company Dynasty Dealings, Darren Heitner broke some under-the-radar news on Tuesday evening.

My initial, only-semi-serious reaction was that Drummond was firing his agent so that he could hire Monroe's, but that wasn't the case: Drummond hired Jeff Schwartz of Excel Sports Management, according to Vincent Goodwill.

While University of Michigan grad Rob Pelinka represents Kobe Bryant and James Harden, Schwartz has a longer list of clients, including Deron Williams, Blake Griffin and Kevin Love. Schwartz also reps current Pistons Brandon Jennings (H/T DBB reader Mediocre_Gatsby) and Gigi Datome. Schwartz was born in Connecticut and currently resides in Drummond's native New York.

Drummond becomes eligible for an extension next year, at which point I hope the Pistons throw all of the monies at him. If he's not locked up long term, he could be an unrestricted free agent as early as summer 2017.
