24 years ago today: Isiah, Dumars and Rodman help East to 1990 All-Star win

On Feb. 11, 1990, the defending world champion Detroit Pistons sent three All-Stars to defend the Eastern Conference's honor in Miami.

Twenty-four years ago today, Isiah Thomas, Joe Dumars and Dennis Rodman were NBA All-Stars in Miami, helping lead the Eastern Conference over the West, 130-113. Isiah, voted to the starting lineup, dished out a game-high nine assists while scoring 15 points with three steals, while Dumars and Rodman were contributed solid production off the bench.

Relive the game (or witness it for the first time, you crazy millennials) with the highlights above and the box score below.

Next time you get the urge to complain about the current All-Star jerseys, just remember it wasn't that long ago uniforms looked like something you'd find at the bottom of a storage closet at the neighborhood YMCA. All of a sudden, sleeves don't look too bad, huh?

(Also, for what it's worth, 13 years ago today Jerry Stackhouse represented the Eastern Conference in the 2001 NBA All-Star Game, scoring a vital seven points in a 111-110 victory. Yay Jerry!)
