In the third quarter, the Pistons were outscored 17-3 in the first five minutes to fall Cheeks behind 20. It was a pathetic display, also known as Pistons basketball. The Bobcats outscored the Pistons 33-25 overall in the quarter.

-- Greg Monroe and Josh Smith started the game a combined 0-for-14 shooting and were just 2-for-17 at the half. They were better in the third (6-for-8), but the defense was so bad, it didn't matter any.

-- Bobcats have 27 assists on 33 made field goals. Hooray teamwork.

-- Pistons only had four offensive rebounds on 31 misses (34 percent shooting) in the first half. They had one offensive rebound in the third quarter.

-- The Pistons still can't stop Al Jefferson. He has 22 points on 10-for-16 shooting, and he's not even scoring in the post tonight. [cue the Andy gif]

-- Andre Drummond received a technical foul for arguing what was a weak foul. Ball didn't lie.
