Pistons vs. Heat (late) second-half GameThread

The Pistons trailed the Heat at the half, 63-57.

The Pistons battled the Heat tough for much of the first half despite Andre Drummond being in foul trouble and only playing a little over four minutes.

Greg Monroe had a double-double in 21 first-half minutes with 14 points and 10 rebounds, making the most of his extra minutes due to Drummond's foul trouble.

Josh Smith was 3-for-11 shooting and overall not very good.

The Heat had (the big) three in double figures, led by Dwyane Wade's 18 points. A few quick Wade baskets in the first resulted in the peculiar benching of rookie Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
