Monday:
Atlanta at Charlotte
The Hawks looked like they could join the club working their way to the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings after losing 14 of 15, but since then they're on a four-game winning streak. They held the Bobcats to 35 percent shooting in a convincing win in Charlotte last night.
Utah at Houston
There was a while in February where the Jazz were looking competent. But last night they lost their fifth straight in a blowout to the Rockets. They're in the midst of a rough patch in the schedule though, with one more road game against a playoff contender in Memphis before heading home to face the Magic and Pistons. There's still a chance of sneaking ahead of the Jazz - let's hope for some good play out of the young squad.
Boston at Dallas
Rajon Rondo might have been enough to steal a win in Dallas. But on the second night of a back-to-back, he watched the Celtics lose by five points, despite shooting only 36 percent from the field. They're on a five-game losing streak with no let-up in the schedule forthcoming.
LA Clippers at Denver
Like the Hawks, the Nuggets pushed themselves further from competition from falling below the Pistons' record with a win against the Clippers. Kenneth Faried led the way with 18 points and 16 rebounds.
Win totals for the other half:
Bucks: 13
76ers: 15
Magic: 19
Lakers: 22
Celtics: 22
Jazz: 22
Kings: 23
Pistons: 25
Cavs: 26
Knicks: 27
Pelicans: 27
Hawks: 30
Nuggets: 30
Tuesday:
Miami at Cleveland
The champs have been a bit vulnerable lately, but LeBron James doesn't lose in his trips home very often.
Root for: Cleveland (.5 game behind Pistons in tank race)
Washington at Sacramento
It's a real chance for the Pistons to climb in the tank standings! The Kings have been playing competitive ball despite winning only one of their last five. The Wizards present a pretty even matchup, and a few more winnable games against the Bucks, Knicks, Pelicans, and Lakers are in the near future.
Root for: Sacramento (2.5 games up on Pistons)
