Brandon Jennings fined by NBA for flopping

Jennings is the first Detroit Pistons player to ever be fined under the NBA's anti-flopping policy.

Brandon Jennings was fined a cool $5,000 on Tuesday for the flop in the video below:

You can see by the replay that there's no contact between Bucks forward Jeff Adrien and Jennings' upper body. You can also see Jennings try to wipe the little grin off his own face after getting the call.

It was Jennings' second violation, as he was warned in December for a flop against the Houston Rockets. Video of that flop is below:

Jennings is the fifth NBA player to be fined this year for flopping, joining James Harden, Corey Brewer, Lance Stephenson and Mario Chalmers.

Below is how much Jennings will get dinged if he flops again (and again):

Violation 1: Warning
Violation 2: $5,000 fine
Violation 3: $10,000 fine
Violation 4: $15,000 fine
Violation 5: $30,000 fine
Violation 6: Subject to discipline reasonable under the circumstances, including an increased fine and/or suspension

Jennings is making just north of $7.6 million this season.
