2014 NBA Draft order and results: All the picks for every team

Here's your NBA draft tracker, which we'll update with each pick as the draft moves on, and DBB's official open thread for the night as we count down the picks until it's the Pistons' turn at No. 38.

Update: Comments are closed on this post! Head over to the overflow thread to keep talking. | Pistons take Spencer Dinwiddie at No. 38

The 2014 NBA Draft kicks off tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET, with ESPN's TV coverage starting 30 minutes prior. Barring any surprises, though, the Detroit Pistons may not make their first selection for nearly three hours after the first pick. NBA teams are allowed five minutes between each first round pick, and two minutes in the second round. Considering the Pistons enter the draft holding the No. 38 pick, that's ... [pulls out iPhone to do simple arithmetic] ... 164 minutes.

But who knows? It's possible the Pistons' new braintrust of Stan Van Gundy and Jeff Bower might trade into the first round should the right opportunity present itself.

"We're not going out and actively, right now, seeking ways into the (first round)," Van Gundy said earlier this week, according to MLive.com. "But on draft night, if there were guys there, yeah, we might do it."

So you're saying there's a chance! In any case, join your DBB family in the comments and consider this draft tracker your open thread for the evening. And if you're new to DBB, stick around awhile and sign up for an account -- we're happy to have you.
