Let's watch Spencer Dinwiddie work out

Here's a video of the Pistons rookie putting in work on the court, showing little to no rust after suffering a torn ACL last January.

Spencer Dinwiddie is returning from a torn ACL suffered last January, and it's unclear when -- or even if -- he might play this year. The Pistons have asked him not to discuss anything that might be construed as a timetable, but in his limited comments to the media he has admitted that he's already training without any restrictions.

"I don’t have any movement pattern restrictions," he told the Detroit Free Press earlier this month while in Orlando to watch summer league. "Obviously, they ain’t letting me play [in summer league], but there’s nothing I can’t do as far as running and jumping and all that stuff. I can do anything."

While the video above doesn't show anything extraordinary, it's still encouraging to see him on the court -- and looking healthy, to this untrained eye. It's also cool to see him embracing novel forms of rehabilitation and training -- something tells me he's going to like working with Detroit's support staff.
