USA Basketball vs. Brazil: Andre Drummond could see more minutes due to DeMarcus Cousins injury

Team USA takes on Brazil in Chicago in the first of three exhibition games leading up to the FIBA Basketball World Cup in Spain.

DeMarcus Cousins' MRI on his knee came back revealing no structural damage, but he has been ruled out for Saturday night's exhibition against Brazil. This means that Andre Drummond will likely see more playing time and some had speculated could even start. As of writing this, the fifth starter for the team had not been named -- Derrick Rose, Stephen Curry, James Harden and Anthony Davis had already been named starters the game. UPDATE: It's Kenneth Faried.

The game will be aired on ESPN.

The last time team USA played on ESPN, it was an intra-squad scrimmage in which Paul George suffered a horrific leg injury that ended the scrimmage (and George's season). Let's hope nothing like that happens against Brazil. Team USA players are honoring George before the game.

Starting Lineup:

G Derrick Rose

G Stephen Curry

F James Harden

F Kenneth Faried

C Anthony Davis

Game time: 9 p.m. ET

Location: United Center, Chicago, Illinois

TV: ESPN

Online: WatchESPN
