Brandon Jennings went down with a non-contact "left leg" injury near the end of the third quarter of the Pistons' 101-86 loss to Jennings' former team in Milwaukee.
The fear is that Jennings injured his achilles, although that has not been confirmed yet by the team.
Jennings didn't appear to roll the left ankle and he was grabbing the back of his left foot while he was flailing around on the ground in pain. He did not put any weight on the foot when he was helped off the court and he required a wheelchair in the tunnel. After the game, Jennings was on crutches and in a boot. He said it felt like someone kicked him in the back of the leg. He will remain in Milwaukee Saturday night and return to Detroit on Sunday for an MRI.
Obviously Jennings will miss Sunday's game against the Raptors. Stan Van Gundy added that it doesn't look good and he will be out for the foreseeable future.
