With Reggie Jackson back and Spencer Dinwiddie needing more time to straighten out his roller-coaster preseason, there is no rush to bring back veteran Steve Blake. Blake, who was traded for earlier this offseason, has been out with a concussion for over two weeks, longer than normal. Wednesday, after the Pistons' win against the Chicago Bulls, Keith Langlois sent out a couple of tweets on Blake's status:

So SVG says Blake, originally hoping for return to practice Friday, now hoping to get him back next week sometime.

A concussion is nothing to mess with. It is better to make sure he comes back healthy. In the meantime, it looks like the third guard will just have to be Stanley Johnson. I'm okay with that.
