The Detroit Pistons open their 2015-2016 season on Tuesday night on the road against the Atlanta Hawks, the Eastern Conference's reigning No. 1 seed. Tall order for Stan Van Gundy's young-ish team. Win or lose on opening night, a lot of hype surrounds this new era of Detroit Basketball, and we're not just saying it because it's the start of a new season. If you're a fan who checked out last season, well, you missed a lot of why this year's team could be so exciting, but we won't call you a bandwagon ass cat -- not to your face anyway. Whether that's you or not, you may need a refresher course on the Pistons before tip off.
