Andre Drummond put up a gaudy stat line in the Pistons improbable, seemingly impossible, comeback win against the Portland Traiil Blazers on Sunday, but nothing was as emphatic as this. The Pistons center absolutely destroyed a Meyers Leonard dunk attempt and Reggie Jackson took the ensuing possession coast-to-coast.
While the final score made the game seem like a laugher, at the time the result was very much in doubt. Detroit had clawed its way to a 102-98 lead and were looking to take all the life out of the Blazers. Mission accomplished. But if Leonard scores instead of a six-point game it's a two-point game and who know what might have happened.
