Reggie Jackson has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for the use of inappropriate language directed at a fan, according to David Mayo at MLive. The incident occurred at Oklahoma City on Friday, Nov. 27. Reggie Jackson responded to a fan's heckling when he was heading to the bench by using some very offensive language.

As for the fine, $25,000 really isn't much to Reggie Jackson, who signed a 5-year, $80 million contract this offseason. However, it does not look good for your franchise point guard to be going after fans who are just being fans. This is part of the game, especially in hostile territory against your old team. People are going to say things, and you have to learn to tune it out as a player. Hopefully this will teach Reggie Jackson to keep his cool next time and remember that there could always be a camera watching.
