Greg Monroe didn't have a double-double in the first game of February (12 points, nine rebounds vs. Miami), but he was a double-double Moose machine in the month of January. In 17 games, Monroe put up double digit points and rebounds in 14 games. As Keith Langlois pointed out before the game, Monroe's 14 in January tied a franchise record and forever puts him in Pistons lore:
Greg Monroe's 14 January double-doubles tie Laimbeer (1/87) and Grant Hill (3/96) for most as a Piston in any month over last 30 years.

In all, Monroe averaged nearly 17 points and 13 rebounds per game in the month of January. He has double-doubles in 15 of 21 games since Josh Smith was waived and in 23 of 47 games this season. So, yeah, he's been much more productive in the PSE (with a couple extra minutes of playing time and an extra shot or two).
Now your thoughts.
