The Detroit Pistons announced they have signed forward Quincy Miller for the remainder of the season. Miller had signed two 10-day contracts with the Pistons but has yet to suit up for the Pistons.

The deal also gives Miller a partial guarantee for next season, meaning he will be with the Pistons for summer league and training camp next season.

As quoted by the Detroit Free Press:

"He's a guy with size and length and athletic ability and can shoot the ball, so he's somebody who we want to see. It's not a huge investment for us," Van Gundy said before the 105-98 loss to the Golden State Warriors. "He's a guy who has great potential to develop."

Miller has appeared in two games with Pistons' D-League affiliate, the Grand Rapids Drive, and has averaged 11.5 points, nine rebounds, two assists and one block in 19.7 minutes per game. He has also suited up for the Sacramento Kings and the Reno Big Horns this season and spent two years with the Denver Nuggets.
