With their second round pick, the Pistons made a surprise move by selecting Darrun Hilliard out of Villanova. Even if you've never heard of him, Hilliard was the leading scorer for the second ranked team in the NCAA. He was also a key player in Villanova's 2013-14 run where they won the Big East and finished 29-5.
It's a bit of a surprise pick, as Hilliard wasn't projected to be drafted by several top draft websites. But there's plenty to like about him. He builds the Pistons depth on the wing as a prospective 3-and-D player, standing 6'6 with a 6'9 wingspan and shooting 37 percent from behind the arch during his career.
Hilliard comes to the Pistons from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
