Unrestricted free agent Danny Green has a meeting scheduled with the Detroit Pistons, according to Shams Charania of RealGM.

Green is a two-way perimeter player for the San Antonio Spurs. A more than capable defender, Green also happens to hit better than 40 percent from 3 each of the past five years. In six seasons and with 1,463 attempts under his belt he has a career 42 percent conversion rate from the perimeter.

Green has been a staple in San Antonio since 2010, but with a big extension coming to Kawhi Leonard and sites set on possibly adding LaMarcus Aldridge, the Spurs might have to let Green go elsewhere.

That'd be just fine for Detroit, who has a giant hole at the small forward position and is looking to add defense and perimeter shooting.

It is not known whether Green has other meetings lined up or when he is expected to make a decision on his home for next season. The Pistons have roughly $19 million in cap space and are looking to add a starting small forward and a pair of backup centers.
