Detroit Pistons alternate uniforms: Gray the new shade?

The Detroit Pistons may be soon revealing a new alternate jersey for the 2015-2016 season. The Detroit Free Press seems to think so, too:

The Detroit Pistons will be wearing new gray alternate uniforms next season, according to a supposed confidential NBA document posted Wednesday night on Reddit.

Gray? OK, kind of bland, but it is popular with the "50 Shades" crowd. And it's better than teal.

The apparently leaked document — labeled "2015-16 Season Identity Updates" — shows renderings of uniform changes for several NBA teams, including the Pistons.

The same picture posted in the Freep was sent to me late Wednesday by longtime DBBer Boney, and I saw it posted a little later in the comments by LIKEaBAAS.

According to a uniforms guru, "the format and design of the sheet itself, including the 'Confidential' stamp on the bottom, are all consistent with internal NBA documents of this sort," which leads him to believe that this is no gimmick.
