2015-2016 NBA, Detroit Pistons schedule to be released Aug. 12

Mark your calendars, set your alarms.

Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

The 2015-16 NBA regular-season schedule, and thus, the Detroit Pistons schedule, will be released at 6 p.m. ET on Wednesday. The release will be via a televised special on NBA TV, the NBA announced on Tuesday.

There don't appear to be any leaks related to the Pistons, yet, but there have been a lot of other clues. For example, it looks like we're going to get an NBA finals rematch on Christmas Day, when the Pistons will likely be off.

The only thing out there regarding the Pistons schedule right now is that they will play a pre-season game against the Brooklyn Nets on Oct. 8 at The Palace. The pre-season is scheduled to begin Oct. 3, so this may or may not be their first game of the pre-season.

The NBA regular season is scheduled to start Tuesday, Oct. 27 with the reigning champs hosting Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans.

We'll have the Pistons' entire schedule as soon as it's released. Any guesses as to how it will look? When will we see Greg Monroe for the first time? Will it be nationally televised? When will we see the Phoenix Suns? Will it be nationally televised?

Now your thoughts.
