The Detroit Pistons will open the 2015-2015 season in Atlanta on Oct. 27 against the Hawks. It's opening night for the NBA with the other two games being televised on national television (TNT). The Pistons' home opener will be the next night against the Utah Jazz. They stay home to face the Chicago Bulls on Oct. 30.
The most surprising news about the schedule is that currently the Pistons have zero nationally televised games (ABC, ESPN, TNT). That obviously could change throughout the course of the season. Wins will help.
The Pistons once again will have more than the average in back-to-back games. They'll have 20 this year, down from 22.
