Pistons tickets go on sale Saturday

First home game is Oct. 28 against the Utah Jazz.

Detroit Pistons individual tickets will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Palace Box Office and online, the team announced.

The first home game is Oct. 28 against the Utah Jazz.

Pistons home games will again featured themed nights, including a new Fan Duel Fridays, which might appeal to the degenerate gamblers amongst our ranks.

Full theme night schedule is as follows, per the team's official news release:

  • "Made in Michigan Mondays" - Made in Michigan Mondays will be about celebrating the great state of Michigan. Fans will receive specials on Michigan Made products and see original halftime entertainment from the state of Michigan's best entertainers. Celebrate all things Michigan on Made in Michigan Mondays.
    • "Hoops for Troops Tuesdays" - Hoops for Troops Tuesdays presented by Applebee's is about honoring men and women in the military. Whether active members of the military or honorable veterans, the Detroit Pistons are committed to honoring the men and women working in the service of their country and to protect and serve their communities.
    • "Wild Wednesdays" - Wild Wednesdays at the Palace will be a night dedicated to fans who are up for whatever. Fans will be treated to special and exclusive Wednesday promotions that range from "$1 Hot Dogs" to "Random Seat Upgrades" to "Post Game Activities" and much more. You never know what you will experience on "Wild Wednesdays" as it's all about surprise and delight for fans of the Detroit Pistons.
    • "The Thursday Premiere" - Join us on Thursday's as we Premiere new experiences for the best fans in the NBA. This a chance to get a head start on the weekend as we premier must see elements into the fan experience. The Pistons will showcase new experiential vendors on the concourse, fresh and exciting food and beverage options, new business opportunities and interactive Palace360 elements.
    • "Fan Duel Fridays" - Fan Duel Fridays are the ultimate night of the week to party with the Pistons. Fans can unwind and enjoy the highest flying team in the city, great food and beverage options, world-class entertainment teams and the most entertaining halftime acts in the NBA. All fans in attendance on Fan Duel Fridays will receive unique Fan Duel Promo Codes to play against other fans for Pistons VIP Experiences. Mobile Ambassadors will be on the concourse throughout the season to encourage fans attending to download the Fan Duel app. After a long week, The Palace is the most fun and exciting place to kick-start the weekend.
    • "Super Saturdays" - Super Saturdays presented by United Shore at The Palace focus on the entire Palace experience. Whether you come for the action on the court, deals and discounts during Power Hour, the entertaining halftime or the giveaways geared towards kids 14 and under, fans will find it all at The Palace on Super Saturdays.
    • "Motor City Sundays" - Motor City Sundays give fans and the Pistons a chance to showcase their shared pride in celebration of all things Detroit and family. The Detroit Pistons will wear their Motor City Pride Jerseys exclusively for all Sunday home games. Doors open early for Sunday tip-offs to give families and friends a chance to wrap up the weekend together and enjoy a Detroit pride-centric game night experience.
    I know what you're all thinking ... where are the musical acts?!?!?

    I'm not sure. They allude to halftime entertainment so I don't know if that means more mini-concerts or dogs catching Frisbees. I do know, however, that when I saw DJ Kool perform Let Me Clear My Throat live at the Palace it was one of the best times of my life.
